Everyone surely wishes to look fresh and youthful until the high age. Smooth, plump, fine-pored and firm, rosy skin – this is how the ideal skin type looks like. But only a few people really do have such a perfect skin. Besides a positive, optimistic and active way of life, a regular and consistent skin care is needed. Finding the right cosmetic products is very difficult and confusing due to the variety of skin care brands and lines. Mostly a product line was especially developed to suit a certain age or skin type. The cosmetic has to suit the skin’s needs in order to promise good results. As the skin changes with aging you should check whether you can find a special product even more optimized for you.
Your skin type depends on several internal and external influences. Factors that can affect the appearance of your skin are: disposition, diseases, hormone fluctuation, eating habits, whether and environmental pollutants and last but not least the individual skin care routine.
Basically the appearance of the skin depends on the sebum production. The sebum encloses the moisture and spreads it on the surface of the skin. Therefore sebum is highly important to protect the skin. The mentioned reasons above could lead to an unbalanced production of this natural lipid. Good skin condition can easily be affected and the consequence can be dryness, blemished skin or irritation.
We differentiate between these skin types:
Normal skin
This is the perfect skin, almost without a spot. But this is quite rare. Lucky if you are among this minority. The skin is radiant, does not feel tense but beautifully even and smooth with a rosy complexion.
Our recommendation:
Dry Skin
Fine pores, hardly blackheads, slight or even strong tension in the whole face. The skin feels rough and often chapped. In addition, dry skin sometimes itches and reacts sensitively to temperature changes. The skin’s protective film is very thin and dries out very quickly. Even in young age, small lines and wrinkles can arise due to the dryness.
Our recommendation:
Oily Skin
Blackheads all over the face, the skin feels oily and pores appear enlarged. A shiny oil film covers the face. The skin has only few lines and wrinkles. Is it moist at the same time you have an oily-moisturized skin. Especially teenagers have this skin. But if your skin is dry and you notice dead skin cells increasing you have oily-dry skin. This skin is more sensitive and tends to fell tense after cleansing.
Our recommendation:
Use light and moisturizing cosmetics. Clean your skin thoroughly in the morning and evening in order to reduce the oil and grease on your face. You should not use too rich or oily creams!
Blemished skin or akne skin
Blackheads, often purulent pustules and spots spread over the whole face. The skin feels oily and tense.
Our recommendation:
Combination skin
Blackheads and a shiny film in the T-zone – tension on the cheeks? The complexion appears shiny and dry at the same time. Pores are often enlarged in the T-zone. Tends to an increased formation of wrinkles, especially in the eye-, mouth- and neck area. Your skin is easily irritated, or prone to redness or couperose.
Our recommendation:
Mature Skin
Tension on the whole face, the skin appears pale, thin and wrinkly. Independent from the skin type mature skin has its own characteristics: With increasing age the sebum production and sweat production decreases. The result is sensitive skin that tends to dry out, itch and chap. Often this also comes along with redness and increased formation of skin flakes.
Our recommendation:
If you have especially thin and fragile skin use VINOLIFT® Skin Forte (serum and cream in combination). Skin Forte helps to build up the density of the skin. It strengthens the skin for a healthier and younger appearance.
Sensitive Skin
Very tense feeling on your face and red spots all over. Your skin feels rough and is often irritated. Especially this skin type needs a carefully selected care. Sensitive skin does not easily forgive using the wrong products. The natural skin barrier is broken and environmental aggressors can easily harm the skin. This results in pimples and irritations.
